Theatre / Productions

High school can be full of drama. Just ask the St. Teresa's Academy Theatre Department! Here, students interested in drama and theatrical design/production flourish. STA students have ample opportunities to get involved within the theatre program. Three shows are presented each year: a musical and a play directed by theatre teacher, Shana Prentiss; and a student production written and directed by St. Teresa’s Academy seniors.

All aspects of productions, from stage management to lighting design, and from costume to makeup, are student-led and student-organized. Students in STA's theatre program have a great sense of ownership over their productions. Those choosing to participate in productions not only have fun, they learn valuable leadership skills that last a lifetime.

Questions about STA's theatre program? Contact Shana Prentiss at or (816) 501-0330.
